How do I apply for an apartment?
Contact the management office at the David Webb Jr. Senior Living Complex to request a residential lease application. Credit and background checks are required as well proof of age and income.
What is the monthly rent?
The monthly rent is $1,119 for a one (1) bedroom, which includes all utilities except phone and cable. Rent increased 2% as of August 1, 2017. The senior complex is not a subsidized building.
Can friends/family members stay with me?
Yes, visitors are allowed. Children are to permitted to reside in units. Our lease permits two people to reside in an apartment.
Is there a waiting list?
Yes, there is a 1 year waiting list for the one (1) bedroom apartments. The waiting list for the two (2) bedrooms is closed.
I own a car, is parking available?
Yes, each apartment qualifies for one parking space. All vehicles must have a valid City of Markham sticker, valid license plate and be in operating condition.

No, pets are not allowed at this time.
Is the building secure?
Yes, each entrance has electronic surveillance cameras for your peace of mind. The building is fully equipped with fire monitoring and sprinkler equipment for your safety.
I smoke, is that allowed in my apartment?
No. Effective August 1, 2017, the senior complex will become a smoke free building. Smoking will be allowed outside, at least 15 feet from the building entrance or in the parking lot areas.
